Endgrain cutting board Grano made of oak

Our The cutting board is made from oak end grain. This means that the surfaces are cut across the grain, making the cutting board particularly robust. Here you can chop and cut vigorously. If the signs of use bother you over the years, you can simply sand it down and re-oil it thanks to its thickness of 3 cm. In order not to waste any of the valuable raw material wood, we only use oak wood sections from other furniture to build the board. This enables us to create an individual cutting board that is resource-saving at the same time.

Processing and care instructions

The wood surface is finely sanded and treated with food-safe wood oil, which protects the board and makes it more durable. The board works due to the acid present in the wood naturally antibacterial . It is therefore not surprising that hikers and workers traditionally, as in the past, only wipe their board briefly with a damp cloth and then put it away until the next snack.
